Lobsang la, our official webmaster, is the longest-serving volunteer for the Tibetan Association of Northern California (TANC). He and his loving wife, Yolanda created and managed three websites simultaneously – for TANC, San Francisco Team Tibet and the Tibetan Community Center of Northern California – during the historic protests and actions related to the 2008 Beijing Olympics. These websites were instrumental in updating, informing and co-ordinating the actions of various groups. In addition, they helped TANC to bring it's first ever excellent TANC Annual Report, as it's Chief Editor and Designer. I personally believe that TANC is fortunate to have such dedicated and committed members. I wish Lobsang la the best in his new business, YoWangdu, which I highly recommend!

Lobsang served as webmaster for the Tibetan Community Center website (www.tccnc.net). He was most patient and an absolute delight to work with. There were times when I or other project members wanted a certain page or a feature to be turned around quickly. He always met our deadline. The one thing I particularly appreciate about Lobsang is his work ethic. On occasions when we wanted a new feature developed or an existing function enhanced, Lobsang made the effort to find out how he could get us what we wanted. It would have been much easier for him to turn down our requests. On behalf of everyone working on the community center project, I want to thank Lobsang for his many wonderful skills as a webmaster, and for his generosity as his work with us was completely pro bono.
